Lustra – Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Lustra (“Bot”, “we”, “us”) is a Discord application designed to deliver images/GIFs quickly with smart rate limiting and NSFW channel enforcement. See our repository for technical details.

2. Agreement to terms

By inviting or using the Bot, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Bot on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

3. Eligibility & community rules

• You must follow Discord’s Terms and policies at all times. Servers and users must comply with age gating and local laws for mature content.
• NSFW features are only available in channels explicitly marked NSFW by Discord. We may block or restrict usage otherwise.
• You must not use the Bot to harass, spam, or violate rights or laws. We may throttle or block misuse.

4. Features & third-party services

The Bot fetches content from third-party sources (e.g., waifu.pics and waifu.im). We don’t host or control third-party content and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or policies. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.

5. Bot permissions & rate limits

The Bot requires standard permissions (e.g., Send Messages, Embed Links, Attach Files, Use Slash Commands). We also apply per-user and per-channel cooldowns to reduce spam and respect Discord rate limits.

6. Prohibited use

• Bypassing NSFW restrictions or serving explicit content outside age-restricted channels;
• Attempting to overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Bot;
• Using the Bot to infringe IP rights or laws.

7. Availability & changes

The Bot is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Features may change, be suspended, or discontinued without notice. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Intellectual property

We retain rights to the Bot’s code and branding. Third-party content remains the property of their respective owners.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for content provided by third parties or users.

10. Termination

You may remove the Bot at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for violations or risk to users, the platform, or the Bot.
